Good words, James. You are not alone.

Everyone at the conference was as gracious as can be. The love was tangible, the teaching was enriching. I had an internal feeling of being an observer (not fully a participant) of something I long for, but cannot have, by virtue of my social context (birth, marriage). I ask myself what is the right path? Should I just quit longing? Or to press forward and attempt to journey toward a full participation in an ekklesia that is increasingly defining its boundaries to exclude people like me? How do I fulfill a longing in my heart for an expression to Hashem in this earthly existence? There are many others like us - something seems off and I'm not sure what it is.

Blessings on your head.

This post caught my heart and expresses far better than I ever could that each and everyone of us belongs a rather large and eclectic family.... so if we are family - we should all play nicely together.

SHOULDN'T WE?!!!!

Ha! It's all for the best then that you were "fashioned" to write (and He certainly gave you that gift!). My lovely daughter said she told you a while back, so I just figured you knew. Anyway, it was fun visiting with you.
